Devenue malgré elle un mème sur les Internet modernes, la chanson Bohemian Rhapsody de Queen n’en reste pas moins une pièce maîtresse du genre, que certains aiment visiblement chanter en compagnie de la Police. Mauvaise idée ?
Vendredi oblige, nous n’allions pas passer à côté de l’opportunité de vous relater une histoire cocasse. Elle se déroule cette fois au Canada (à Edson, Alberta, très exactement), et met en scène un jeune homme aussi éméché que fan du groupe de feu-Freddy Mercury. Ainsi, l’homme en question n’aura rien trouvé de mieux à faire que de chanter l’intégralité de l’oeuvre Bohemian Rhapsody alors que la RCMP l’avait « ramassé » en état d’ébriété et placardé dans l’un de ses véhicules.
La RCMP étant la Royal Canadian Mounted Police, pas vraiment la Police Montée, mais plutôt une sorte d’équivalent de la Gendarmerie. Bref, cela n’empêche pas que la prestation du jeune homme a été capturée par les caméras équipant le véhicule de la RCMP, avant d’être balancée sur la toile, pour notre plus grand plaisir. Histoire de ne rien gâcher, le fan de Mercury a même pris le soin de changer quelques phrases de la chanson qu’il a chanté, glissant un savoureux « nothing really matters … even the RCMP ».
Cette chanson me fait systématiquement penser à Wayne’s World..
Et le mec a un réel pèt au casque
tellement bon le remettage de lunette et la paix intérieure qui l’envahis ensuite !

Soit dit en passant L’appellation française de la RCMP est la GRC pour Gendarmerie Royale du Canada
